We’re intentionally different. Nestled in the centre of Rhodes Town, this 60-room hotel offers a fresh take on luxury travel.
Family-owned and operated, with over 50 years of experience under our belt, we’re renowned for combining our flair for interior design with our love of good great service – with results that speak for themselves.
Put simply, ‘guest-first’ isn’t just a motto – it’s in our DNA. Known for our unparalleled hygiene standards, friendly service, and knack for modern surroundings, we’re centred on the ultimate trio; comfort, convenience and cost. Operating year-round, while weaving high-speed internet, free nearby parking, and an excursion organisation service through your stay, it’s more than a hotel. It’s the home of unforgettable holidays.
Reception operates 24/7, making check in and out a breeze. Timetables, schedules, boat trips and rentals are just a few of the facilities provided to all our guests throughout the year.
High speed wireless internet is available throughout the entire hotel. Enjoy fast speeds free of charge.
Private transfer can be arranged to and from the airport or harbor at special rates. Please ask at reception for offers and various vehicle types.
We do offer our own car rental services to our guests, at discounted prices. We offer 2021 Volkswagen polo, with manual speed transmission.
Greek breakfast credited by EOT has been awarded to our hotel. Quality local products are used to present the culinary wealth of Greece and showcase traditional recipes. Served daily from 07:00 am to 10:30 am.
Offering a slice of laid-back luxury, away from the hustle and bustle of the bar, enjoy total access to our lounge. Complete with an ultra-cosy TV area and a slow-paced seating zone, we’re giving you the opportunity to holiday, your way.
It’s true – our breakfasts are so good, they’ve been recognised by the Hellenic Tourism Association. Putting authentic local cuisine at your fingertips, we’re striking a balance between our luxury dining area and our vast selection of approved Greek products, sourced from local farmers. It’s more than tasty food, it’s an experience.
By combining a vibrant ambience with the best of Greek hospitality, we’re bringing people together. Serving all your holiday favourites, day and night, catch up with friends over a mid-afternoon coffee, meet like-minded locals over a cocktail, or sit back and indulge in your most-anticipated sporting events, uninterrupted.
We don’t offer private parking, but a free parking area is situated about 100 meters from the hotel.
It’s a hub of tranquillity amidst the action. Adored for our central location, we’re known for offering the best of both; close access to the medieval city, with a world of shopping facilities, casinos, coffee shops, and entertainment spaces on our doorstep. With McDonald’s, Zara, and Everest – to name a few – within walking distance, we offer something for all the family.
From the adventurers and the sun-seekers to the luxury travellers, we have everything you need, just a stone’s throw away. Whether you love the sound of a day spent soaking up the sun at the beach or you’d like to see all that Rhodes has to offer, from the marina to the main harbour, we’re big on versatility.
The hotel operates all year, with a 24 hour reception and guest desk. We offer all type of information like timetables, schedules arranging boat trips, tickets and more. Check is available at 14:00 and check out at 11:00 (because of Covid strict cleaning procedures). Still we do arrange earlier check in and delayed check out whenever possible depending on availability.
The hotel offers its services to both local and international guests either family or business type. Lydia staff acts more like family than employees as most of them have been around for so many years, that are technically a family by now, and this attitude is evident throughout all the sections of the hotel by everyone.
The hotel offers most modern amenities, like satellite television set, mini bar, en sure bathroom with amenities, hairdryer, safe storage area for valuables, laminated flooring, double glazed windows and balcony. A lounge sun deck area is also provided on the roof of the hotel, ideal for sunbathing and relaxing under the sun.
The Lydia is a charming little place in a perfect spot. Rooms are comfortable, very effective AC and a compact, but very good, bathroom. Cleaning staff v good. Breakfast was a very good selection and lovely location to eat on the patio. Staff were friendly and helpful all round. Would definitely return!
Just returned from a two week stay at Lydia hotel. This was the first time we’d stayed bed and breakfast at a town hotel because we usually go fully inclusive, five star, so we’re a bit sceptical but we needn’t had worried. The hotel really is five minutes from old town, beach and bus station. Although it was central it was very quiet at night and I had the best sleep I’d had for years! Yes, the hotel could do with updating but it was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and plenty of choice at breakfast. So what more could you ask for. This is Greece remember. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Lydia if you want a clean, central hotel in Rhodes that’s in a great position.
Our room was really big and had every comfort, air conditioner, a balcony, a bathroom with a good size, the hotel was really beautiful and seemed freshly restored, it looks modern and sophisticated, the breakfast room is big and you have a great choice of food, from the sweet to the salt and a special greek section were you can have a greek salad or a greek yogurt with fruits. I must admit that the coffee was probably the only thing i didn’t like, it was too “light” for me. The position is perfect to visit both new town (just 1 minute from mandraki area) and old town (just 5/10 minutes walk from the castle). The zone was really quite at night, i would surely come back here.
The location for the place was pretty close to the old town, the beach, bars, and restaurants, facilities were really good and staff was very friendly and kind ti help in any situation
Dimitris Welcomed us with a very generous touch, Authentic Greek Hospitality, If you want to experience a genuine village experience with the community, and savor the magnificent viewing in the streets, like postal cards, well this is the right place away from the touristic crowd, I loved it!!
